In lieu of the 5.9 earthquake that shook my home state, Virginia, among other places along the East Coast, I have decided to attach a slideshow of my school, students, and teachers, a symbol of stability in my life here, because I’m still in the process of writing a new blog post/I’ve been too busy/lazy to sit down and type type type.
I also find it to be ironic that there was an earthquake felt along the East Coast, a location that seldom experiences earthquakes… while I’m living in Indonesia, a country resting on top of two continental tectonic plates, thus resulting in frequent-ish volcanic activity, and occasional tsunamis and earthquakes.
