i swear i just shook the hands and introduced myself (with the assistance of my counterpart) to allllll of the student’s parents a couple of minutes ago.
some memorable comments they made about me:
-i thought american’s were taller
-she has an american [read BIG] nose
-if she doesn’t eat rice for breakfast, she will starve
-has she married yet?
-she will be the only bule (foreigner) riding a bike with a helmet
etc etc etc
